The Keynote address was delivered by Prof MM Sufyan Beg who was present as the Guest of Honour at the event. The USTM Chancellor’s address was followed by a warm speech by the IPS officer from Assam Shri Pradeep Kumar. Overwhelmed by the tremendous response of the AMU alumni from all over the country and abroad towards the event, he said, “It is our responsibility to carry forward the legacy of Sir Syed Ahmad Khan.” “Sir Syed’s role in developing modern education in the modern society can never never be forgotten,” he added.
